I'm starting this blog mainly to keep track of my progress but also to share ideas, feelings, recipes and maybe some tips with other slimmers out there!
I am setting myself a target weight loss of 30kg they say the healthy average amount of weight loss per week is 0.9kg so hopefully I should be able to lose 30kg in 7&1/2 months. I am curren
tly a uk size 16 (european 44 USA 14) and I hope to go down to a uk size 12 (european 40 USA 10).
As of Sunday 31st May I will be starting Scottish Slimmers online which basically categorizes all foods into a check point system and depending on your current weight etc they specify how many checks you are allowed each day. I have had a look through some of the online recipes and there are quite a few meals I like the sound of. I have known a few people who have had success with Scottish Slimmers and I'm hoping it will have the same effect for me!
So my goals are:
To lose 30kg over a period of 7&1/2 months.
To go to the gym at least 3 days a week.
To drop 2 dress sizes.
To stop snacking on rubbish in between meals.
To add more fruit & veg into my diet.
To train myself into eating proper portions.
To become more fit & healthy.
To have fun!
